Assistant Vice President – P&C Insurance Broker Support

We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President (AVP), P&C Insurance Broker Support.


In this role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be responsible for driving growth within the Insurance Service Line by developing and executing strategies to support insurance clients, managing and enhancing existing solutions, creating new offerings, and enabling strong go-to-market strategies. The role is primarily focused on the U.S. Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance markets, particularly in commercial lines, with additional exposure to Life Insurance and Brokerage being an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of major insurance broker support products/solutions, similar to a Product Management role.
  • Co-manage existing insurance brokerage clients in partnership with client relationship teams.
  • Develop new products organically or through partnerships to bring innovative solutions to market.
  • Build and manage go-to-market strategies to achieve revenue and sales targets.
  • Participate in (and at times lead) RFP responses and business proposals for potential clients.
  • Ensure SLAs and deliverables are consistently met across teams.
  • Engage with stakeholders to drive continuous improvements in service delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key client decision-makers.
  • Mentor and monitor team performance to meet quality, inventory, and turnaround targets.
  • Lead operations delivery for the site and extend support across multiple sites.

Minimum Requirements

  • Extensive experience in Insurance operations, with focus on P&C Insurance lifecycle – pre-placement, placement, and post-placement activities (endorsements, policy admin, issuance, checking, quoting, renewals, submissions, surplus lines, licensing, agency admin, inspections, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of the U.S. P&C insurance ecosystem – distribution, brokerage, technology platforms, data and analytics, and market trends.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to engage with senior-level insurance executives.
  • Experience in go-to-market strategies, marketing approaches, and product positioning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office tools.
  • Prior P&L ownership for insurance-related products.

Preferred

  • Relevant domain certifications.

Key Qualities

  • Deep expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Strong exposure to Brokerage, Binding, and Underwriting.
  • Leadership experience in large-scale operations (managing spans of 200–300+ employees).
