We are seeking a talented and dedicated Technical Operations Executive to join the Operations team at Direct7 Networks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing deployments, and maintaining our Linux-based servers while ensuring seamless integration and support for our customers. This role is vital to ensuring the stability, efficiency, and performance of our systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective support for technical incidents and issues in the production environment.
  • Monitor and analyze server performance, troubleshoot problems, and optimize resources to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Automate software builds, deployments, and configuration management using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and develop long-term resolutions.
  • Collaborate with customers to provide technical assistance, support system integration, and ensure customer satisfaction.


Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in server, product, or application support.
  • Proficiency with system monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) and log analysis.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to server management.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience writing SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and customers.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
