Job Overview:


The Brand Monitoring Specialist will be responsible for identifying, collecting, and organizing information from public sources, social media platforms, and other databases to ensure the protection of brand identity. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in social media research, and an understanding of IP rights and domain registration processes. The specialist will play a key role in identifying infringing content, reporting it, and supporting enforcement actions to safeguard the brand’s reputation.


What You'll Do:


  • Identify, collect, and organize information from public sources, social media sites, and other databases.
  • Research and analyze infringing websites, phishing domains, and social media accounts/posts.
  • Conduct secondary research on assigned topics and create data sheets using MS Excel.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of projects and reports.
  • Research and identify brand IP rights and monitor for potential violations.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports using MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
  • Handle and resolve client queries related to brand monitoring and protection.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.


What You'll Need:


  • Bachelor's degree with 2-5years of experience in brand protection, online monitoring, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in searching and analyzing content on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Awareness of enforcement processes on major social media platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and report phishing threats and brand guideline violations.
  • Stay updated with new social media technologies and trends.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, monitor platforms efficiently, and respond promptly to customer queries or issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Proficiency in web research and understanding of IP rights.
  • Awareness of internet domains, domain registration processes, and details of registrants/registrars.
  • Proficiency in office productivity tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
