Responsibilities

He will be responsible for running purchase as a profit center and will manage a purchase budget of Rs 15 crores. He is responsible for vendor development ,innovation and product substitution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.

  • Procure quality parts and equipment's at negotiated rate, cheaper than the existing rates
  • Support Preventive and break down maintenance to ensure zero break down time.
  • Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy monthly with the Group General Manager
  • Develop the purchase department as an independent profit center.
  • Develop right vendors to supply parts and equipment's in time.
  • Single handedly maintain necessary documents related to the department.
  • Ensure all bills reach the HO well in time


Malayalam Speaking Mechanical engineer with 10-12 years supply chain management preferred.


Qualifications

A Mechanical engineer with 10-12 years hands on experience in in supply chain management .

Salary::Rs 40000-Rs 45000+ food + accommodation.
