Job Summary:

The Associate Vice President Sales – New Business will be responsible for driving the new customer acquisitions for Indian Domestic Business, sales strategy, managing a high-performing sales team, and achieving revenue targets. Key Responsibilities:


1.Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's business goals and objectives.
  • Identify target markets, industries, and customer segments to focus sales efforts.
  • Set sales targets, forecast revenues, and prepare sales budgets.


2. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to enhance the team's skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.


3. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target accounts.
  • Develop and present compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals.


4.Client Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service and addressing client needs promptly.
  • Manage key client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations and critical issues.
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals.


5.Market Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Analyse sales data, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Use insights from market analysis to refine sales strategies and identify growth opportunities.


6.Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Work closely with other departments, including Marketing, Product Development, and Delivery, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.


Qualifications:

  • B.Tech + MBA or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 7 years in sales leadership roles within the IT services and consulting industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT services, consulting solutions, and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Ability to travel as required.
