Position title: Zonal Head – South Zone
Location: Hyderabad
Job Purpose:
Plan, direct and implement marketing & sales plan in Zone as P&L leader by Implementing marketing strategies / monitoring and directing Sales Team to achieve sales, collection and business development to achieve the Revenue and Market Share. Implementation of initiatives for strategic alliances for Business Growth in the region.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Formulation & Implementation of marketing and sales strategy for achieving targeted objectives in the Zone.
- Sales Management: Oversee and guide activities to ensure the development of a skilled market and sales team, enhancing overall performance. Strategize and manage key accounts to foster customer retention.
- Benchmarking within and outside industry to find out the potential risks and threats.
- Receivables Management: Deliver overall Revenue & Collections targets budgeted for the assigned Zone
- Safety and Sustainability: Lead departmental safety initiative and monitor safety practices for hazardous chemicals (e.g., Chlorine, HCL, H2, SBP). Advise customers on DCA safety and sustainability policies.
- Manage people processes effectively: Create and support the implementation of the team's MDP. Enhance team skills through exposure to new developments and initiatives.
- MIS & Knowledge Management.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the Chemical industry.
- Education Qualification: B.Sc. Chemistry, MBA
- Strong strategic planning, sales management, and team development abilities.
