Brief 馃攳
We鈥檙e on the lookout for a dynamic Game Coordinator to bring people together through sports and grow the Turf Town community in Chennai. This role goes beyond coordination鈥攊t鈥檚 about creating an inclusive environment where players feel part of a team. As the Game Coordinator, you will actively engage with players, connect with potential volunteers, and develop a vibrant community of sports enthusiasts.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and oversee Turf Town games in person, engaging with players to create a memorable experience.
- Coordinate with volunteers to ensure games run smoothly.
- Schedule games and manage attendance, helping ensure that all Turf Town events are inclusive and well-organized.
- Build strong relationships with players, encouraging new members to join and fostering a sense of community.
Qualifications:
- A people-person with excellent communication skills and a friendly, empathetic approach.
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- You must own a vehicle (two/four wheeler) as this role will demand you to travel
- A love for sports鈥攑articularly football, badminton, pickleball or basketball.
- 1-4 years of experience in sports or event coordination is preferred.
