Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to join our brokerage firm in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in accounting, be proficient in Tally, and possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and processes. This role involves assisting the senior accountant in day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and regulation compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. GST Filing: Assist in preparing and filing GST returns on time.
  2. Financial Records: Maintain and update accounts, ledgers, and balance sheets.
  3. Tally Operations: Operate Tally software efficiently for accounting tasks and reporting.
  4. Payment Processing: Prepare cheques, manage cheque deposits, and handle payment records.
  5. Salary Processing: Assist in the calculation and disbursement of employee salaries.
  6. Banking Tasks: Liaise with banks for deposits, withdrawals, and account management.
  7. Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  8. Support Senior Accountant: Provide administrative and operational support for financial audits and compliance tasks.
  9. Documentation: Maintain organized financial documentation and records for easy retrieval and compliance.
  10. Expense Management: Track and report on company expenses and payments.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1-3 years in accounting or a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Tally, strong knowledge of GST and accounting principles.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling financial data and records.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant at DC Jain Real Estate Services located in Gurugram. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day financial tasks, such as bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and reconciling accounts. Additionally, they will assist in budgeting, financial analysis, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
