Job Title: Freelance Content Writer & Multimedia Specialist


Project Duration: [3 months to 6 months]



Project Type: Freelance/Contract


Project Scope:  The freelance Content Writer & Multimedia Specialist will be responsible for developing and creating engaging, informative, and interactive content for our Learning Management System (LMS) and the platform we have onboarded is Zoho Learn. This includes writing, producing, and editing written, video, and PowerPoint content tailored to our educational and training materials.



Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation:

Develop and write engaging, informative educational content, including articles, blog posts, quizzes, and assessments.

Adapt and repurpose existing content to fit the LMS (Zoho Learn) format and structure.

Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.

Video Production & Editing:

Create, edit, and produce instructional and informational videos that align with the LMS content.

Develop video scripts, storyboards, and outlines for various learning modules.

Incorporate interactive elements and assessments within video content to enhance learner engagement.


Presentation Design:


Design visually appealing and interactive PowerPoint presentations to supplement and enhance the LMS content.

Create infographics, charts, and other visual aids to support learning objectives and key concepts.

Ensure consistency in design, branding, and messaging across all presentation materials.


Multimedia Content Integration:

Integrate multimedia content seamlessly within the LMS platform, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality.

Optimize content for various devices and screen sizes to accommodate diverse learners.

Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure content accuracy, functionality, and usability within the LMS.

Video Production & Editing: To build or record videos from scratch and edit to make it platform and training appropriate.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Multimedia Specialist, or similar role, with a focus on educational or instructional content.


  • Strong portfolio showcasing content writing, video production, and presentation design skills.


  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and PowerPoint.


  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.


  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.


  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative and engaging educational content.


  • Strong organizational and project management skills.


  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
