Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented designer to drive the creative vision of our publishing projects. The

ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, exceptional interpersonal

skills, and a passion for the publishing industry. As a Design Executive, you will be responsible

for different book cover design projects and design-related aspects of our publications and

ensure the highest standards of quality and innovation.


Key Responsibilities:

•Manage design projects from concept to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines and author

expectations

•Manage Timeline projects that require attention to detail and a fast work pace to meet the

needs of the authors and projects

•Ensure all design work aligns with the brand’s identity and enhances its market presence.

•Stay updated with industry trends and integrate innovative design practices.

•Ensure the creative direction for book covers, layouts, marketing materials, digital assets,

illustrations, and videos are aligned with the company's visions and future goals.

•Willingness to learn new design tools and stay updated with the latest design trends and

technologies.

•Work closely with authors to understand their vision and translate it into compelling design.

•Utilize industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and edit

designs.

•Ensure the designs of print and digital publications are up to the Industry standard and

technical specifications are met.

•Ensure all design files are properly prepared for printing or digital distribution.

•Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials, social media graphics,

and advertisements.

•Maintain a log of errors and quality issues and Generate reports on quality metrics and

improvements.•You will conduct monthly/quarterly reviews of your work and prepare reports to analyze and

present metrics in a quantitative manner, ensuring clarity and understanding for your manager

and other involved teams.

•Assist the business development team in generating innovative ideas to facilitate the growth

and success of the brand.

•Assist the sales team with visual content needed for pitches, presentations, and sales

meetings.

•Flexibility to adapt to various design styles and project requirements.

•Incorporate feedback from authors and other stakeholders to refine and improve designs.


Qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, multimedia design, fine arts, or a

related field.

• 0-1 year of experience in graphic design

•Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).

•Strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise with book cover design, illustrations, typography,

and marketing materials.

•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•The ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.

•Excellent people skills to maintain good customer relationships

•Strong organizational and project management skills.

•Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

•Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
