Senior Business Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst with over 8 years of experience in business analysis and a strong background in Lean / Six Sigma methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, along with extensive experience in process improvement, data analysis, and business understanding. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving business improvements, optimizing processes, and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic initiatives within the organization and as required by the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1.    Business Analysis and Process Development:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable plans.

2.      Process Improvement:

  • Utilize Lean / Six Sigma methodologies to identify, analyse, and resolve process inefficiencies.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, flowcharts, and standard operating procedures.

3.     Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision-making.
  • Create and present detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions, providing ongoing analysis and reporting.


4.     Project Management:

  • Lead and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and milestones, and track progress against established targets.

5.     Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.
  • Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and training sessions as needed.

6.      Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Identify opportunities for further education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in business analysis and Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Over 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of success in process improvements and business analysis.
  • Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt is required (Black Belt, or Master Black Belt is an added advantage).
  • Additional certifications in business analysis (CBAP, PMI-PBA, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in [industry-specific knowledge – IT / ITES].
  • Familiarity with ERP, MDM, CRM systems.
