And that’s how a few engineers from NIT Kurukshetra found that the travel industry in India needed a fresh burst of young energy The need of the hour was to convert a dispersed agent-based model to a more friendly, transparent and an accessible community for Indian travelers, and hence WanderOn.
We at WanderOn are a modern travel community that provides end to end travel packages in India and abroad. We design the best travel itineraries that encourage group traveling for like-minded people. Our services include road trips, trekking expeditions, corporate trips, and customized tour packages. On our trips, we ensure hassle-free traveling, top-notch accommodation and guided sightseeing that too on a budget.
Executive Leaders & founding team all engineers from NIT Kurukshetra have left their corporate jobs to create disruption and bring about a revolution in the age-old travel industry practices ranging from creating completely new products to completely new methods of execution. Job Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in identifying their ideal travel packages, offering expert guidance and recommendations.
- Thoroughly research and absorb all pertinent information regarding international destinations, including pricing, weather, language, currency, customs, etc.
- Nurture and maintain strong relationships with our clientele, ensuring their needs are consistently met and exceeded.
- Effectively sell tailored tour packages to discerning customers, aligning offerings with individual preferences and requirements.
- Skillfully negotiate customizations or modifications requested by clients, striving to accommodate their needs to the fullest extent possible.
- Contribute actively to achieving sales and revenue targets, driving profitability and growth.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in international travel to provide informed advice to clients.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's degree in travel and tourism, hospitality business, or a related field.
- Comprehensive Destination Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in international destinations is essential.
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in a similar role within the travel sales domain.
- Proven track record of securing sales in a customer-centric environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Innate talent for establishing rapport with clients.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Adept at critical thinking and problem-solving.
