About the Role:


We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure compliance with India’s financial and legal regulations, and support audit and reporting functions. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with expertise in financial compliance and a proactive approach to managing accounts efficiently.


Job Description


  1. Accounting and Financial Management:


  • Prepare daily accounting operations, including journal entries, ledger management, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss accounts.
  • Manage cash flow and ensure timely processing of payments and receipts.


2 India Statutory Compliance:


  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
  • Handle timely preparation and submission of tax returns and other statutory reports.
  • Stay updated with changes in Indian accounting and tax regulations to ensure adherence.


3 Audit and Reporting:


  • Support internal and external audits by preparing accurate and comprehensive financial records.
  • Assist in the preparation of MIS reports and management dashboards.
  • Work closely with auditors to ensure seamless audit processes.


4.Team Collaboration:


  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial planning.
  • Train and mentor junior accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.


5 Process Improvement:


  • Identify gaps in existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal control systems.



Required Skills and Qualifications:


  • Educational Background:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CA Inter/CMA qualification is an advantage.


  • Experience:

Minimum 8+ years of experience in accounting, legal compliance, and audits, with in-depth knowledge of Indian tax laws and financial regulations.


  • Technical Expertise:
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial modelling.


  • Soft Skills:


  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Multi-tasking and manage internal and external compliance deadlines
