Responsible for the supply of Made out & bought out parts for the concrete mixer. Responsible for 100% material supply as per schedule and JIT for the smooth flow of line production in Concrete mixer. To maintain the stock at supplier end.

Skills Required

Strong Knowledge in purchase of Made out and Non Metallic parts, Purchase Management, Purchase Vendor Development, communication, Execution, Negotiation, Cost Reduction


Role

1.   Maintaining of Source List, Info record, MRP parameters & Quota’s for all the materials under buyer codes I25 & MRP controller 007

2.   Initiating online conversion of indents into purchase orders & scheduling agreements.

3.   Releasing amended purchase orders / scheduling agreements to Business Partner with changes in prices whenever there is change in purchase price

4.   Ensuring schedules are reaching Business Partner on-time. 

5.   Follow-up of materials with Business Partner & ensuring materials are delivered as per weekly schedules.

6.   To monitor & improve delivery performances of Business Partner.

7.   To highlight the discrepancies in schedules to planning team.

8.   Ensuring safety stocks are maintained by Business partners as agreed. 

9.   Making visits to Business Partner premises whenever required, to ensure material is delivered without line stoppages.

10.   Organizing SSIPL QE Inspection whenever required.

11.   Doing regular system corrections on PO Release, ZACCR, PO cancellation on periodical basis.

12.   Ensuring rejected materials are collected by Business Partners within stipulated time.

13.   To update strategic sourcing team with development of no-transaction items and non-performing business partner / problematic components.

14.   Co-ordination for implementation of line production in Concrete mixer.

15.   To educate business partner with system changes whenever there is change is initiated / required by SSIPL.

16.   Follow-up with accounts team for release of payments to Business Partner based on priorities whenever necessary.

17.   Taking responsibility on control of all business partners debit balance & advances.

18.   Follow-up with business partner for submission of statutory accounts documents like Stock declaration / 57F4 Challans & Confirmation of balances whichever is necessary. 

19.   Taking initiative & complete additional tasks provided by Superior.

20.   Attending periodical department & inter department meetings.

21.   To identify & eliminate in-house assembly NVA activities.

22.   Periodical review of stocks of sample materials & rework materials available with business partners & has to recover or to make the business partner to return the materials to SSIPL. 

General Activities:

1.   Activities specified as part of the KPIs with relevant targets and weightages shall be performed and recorded on HRIS/data sources connected to the KPIs periodically.

2.   Any other activities unspecified and which is not part of the above list shall be performed as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
