Operational Specialist

The Operational Specialist will support the Director and the Strategy Manager in executing and ensuring operational efficiency. This role involves coordinating between departments, assisting with the implementation of strategic plans, preparing initial drafts of templates and documents, coordinating with vendors, testing and troubleshooting required software.


Key Responsibilities


Planning and Implementation:

  • Facilitate successful execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular updates on the status of projects.


Operational Support:

  • Oversee day-to-day operational tasks and ensure smooth workflow across departments.
  • Prepare initial drafts of required documents.
  • Conduct vendor management activities, including contacting and coordinating with vendors for office supplies, maintenance, jewellery certification and related services. This includes external site visits where required.
  • Provide support to internal team by implementing problem resolutions as devised by management.


Software Testing and Troubleshooting:

  • Assist in testing and troubleshooting existing and upcoming software systems to ensure they operate efficiently.
  • Work with the IT department and other relevant teams to resolve technical issues promptly.


Research and Development:

  • Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and available alternatives to support strategic planning.



Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software systems and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
