Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a technical background to join our team as a Junior Technical Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Associate. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited professional experience to gain valuable skills and knowledge in the areas of governance, risk management, and compliance within a technical context.


Responsibilities:


Assist in the development and implementation of technical governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Support senior GRC specialists in conducting risk assessments of technical systems, processes, and controls to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks.

Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to integrate compliance requirements into technical design and implementation processes.

Assist in monitoring and analyzing emerging regulatory requirements and industry trends to ensure organizational compliance and adaptability.

Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of documentation related to technical governance, risk, and compliance activities, including policies, procedures, and controls.

Collaborate with technical teams to provide support and guidance on GRC-related matters.

Participate in audits and assessments of technical systems and processes to validate compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Engage in training and professional development activities to enhance understanding and proficiency in GRC principles and practices.


Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Strong interest in governance, risk management, and compliance practices, with a desire to pursue a career in the GRC field.

Basic understanding of technical infrastructure, including networks, systems, and applications.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail and the ability to identify and assess risks.

Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Relevant internships or projects demonstrating interest or experience in GRC practices would be advantageous but not required.
