Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team in the garment manufacturing sector. The Industrial Engineer will play a key role in optimizing production processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring quality standards are met within our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial engineering principles and a passion for continuous improvement in garment manufacturing processes.


Responsibilities:

  1. Process Optimization: Analyze and evaluate garment manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
  2. Work Study and Time Analysis: Conduct time and motion studies to determine optimal production methods, workstations layout, and staffing requirements.
  3. Quality Control: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure garments meet required standards and specifications.
  4. Production Planning: Assist in developing production schedules, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet production targets and customer demands.
  5. Implementation of Lean Principles: Implement lean manufacturing principles and techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to eliminate waste, reduce lead times, and improve overall operational efficiency.
  6. Equipment and Technology Integration: Evaluate and recommend appropriate machinery, equipment, and technology solutions to enhance production capabilities and streamline processes.
  7. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices, new processes, and technology implementations.
  8. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze production data to track performance metrics, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement initiatives.
  9. Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization without compromising quality.
  10. Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of [Insert number of years] years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the garment manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
  • Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and tools.
