Job Description:

As a Lead QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and products. You will be responsible for designing and implementing testing strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and document test plans, including test scope, objectives, resources, and schedule.
  • Create detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data that cover functional, integration, and regression testing.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify defects and ensure the functionality, performance, and security of fintech applications.
  • Report and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with developers to prioritize and resolve issues.
  • Perform regular regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not introduce unintended side effects.
  • Conduct performance testing to evaluate system scalability, reliability, and response times under various conditions.
  • Collaborate with security experts to conduct security testing and ensure the safety of sensitive financial data.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing trends to improve testing processes and methodologies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Manual and Automation Software testing, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience in test automation using tools like Selenium, JUnit, Appium, or similar is good to have.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies is good to have.
  • Knowledge of financial concepts and products is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
