The Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for Petroleum Engineers with relevant experience of 8 years to 15 years in mid to large size Oil & Gas E&P Companies or service providers. Incumbent must have substantial onshore/offshore field experience with sound techno-commercial acumen and demonstrated track record of delivering industry leading growth performance through progressive adoption of world – class technologies and innovation.


Well Completions & Workover Engineer – Barmer:

  1. Collaborate with subsurface teams to identify workover opportunities.
  2. List and prioritize workover opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well conditions.
  3. Coordinate with PE – Site Operations team for mapping of resources and equipment required for planned workover to ensure availability and timely execution.
  4. Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface team, rig operations team, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.
  5. Utilize digitalization tools to prepare Workover schedules in coordination with the subsurface team.
  6. Preparation of Annual Workover Budget in coordination with PE-Finance team.
  7. Month on Month budget tracking of Workover Budget and identify cost optimization measures.
  8. Manage Workover Associated Contracts and carry out tendering exercises for future supplies and services.
  9. Day to Day rig operations coordination with rig supervisors and PE-Operations Team in providing solutions to operational issues.
  10. Maintain Workover data for post workover analysis and lessons learnt.


Fracturing Engineer – Barmer:

  1. Provide support for Hydraulic Fracturing job designs, support management on technical and strategic decisions associated with fracturing,
  2. Advancing new technologies, promote knowledge, train engineers, etc.
  3. Advise and critique hydraulic fracturing treatment design in Deviated / horizontal wells in various cairn fields.
  4. Review and prepare various SOP associated with hydraulic fracturing.
  5. Frac cost monitoring and optimization
  6. Pressure modeling/management Including, but not limited to, net pressure, bottom hole pressure, wellbore friction and surface pressures
  7. Step rate tests/DFIT/ Minifrac / Main Frac analysis
  8. Estimated friction pressures due to tortuosity vs. perforations, estimated leak-off and pre-treatment frac gradients
  9. Screen-out minimization via continuous on-site management
  10. Participate in building a strong HSE culture. Demonstrate HSE awareness in Oil & Gas well intervention operations
  11. Responsible for performing short risk analysis.
  12. Perform and Review Geomechanical model.
  13. Perform, Design & Review fracture design models for the potential reservoirs.
  14. Be able to provide useful input in relation to completion, perforation, proppant type, fluid designs, equipment selection etc.
  15. Provide HF candidate zone selection recommendation.
  16. Sensitive/ Uncertainty Analysis.
  17. Participate and Review Post Frac Analysis and History Matching
  18. Perform a post job production potential.


Well Integrity Engineer – Barmer


  1. Develop and implement comprehensive well integrity management strategies to monitor, assess, and maintain the integrity of well assets.
  2. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential integrity threats and vulnerabilities and develop mitigation plans.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards related to well integrity.
  4. Analyze well integrity data to assess well conditions and identify anomalies or deviations.
  5. Prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute well interventions aimed at restoring or enhancing well integrity.
  7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of well integrity management practices.
  8. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians involved in well integrity activities.
  9. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices related to well integrity management.
  10. Advancing new technologies, promote knowledge, train engineers, etc.
  11. Review and prepare various SOP associated with well integrity.
  12. Well integrity cost monitoring and optimization
  13. Participate in building a strong HSE culture. Demonstrate HSE awareness in Oil & Gas well intervention operations


Artificial Lift Engineer – East Coast – S’yanam/Surat

  1. Monitor well performance under gas lift and ESP. Undertake corrective measures for well trips.
  2. Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.
  3. Analyze draw down requirements and explore scope for suitable advanced lift methodologies for production improvement.
  4. Should be able to apply design software for Artificial lift and well performance as per the requirement.
  5. List and prioritize intervention opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well conditions.
  6. Work along with Completion Engineers for artificial lift planning, design and installation.
  7. Resource management for smooth running of current lift systems and installation of new systems.
  8. Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.
  9. Utilize digitalization tools for ALS monitoring, post failure analysis if any and improvement.


Well Intervention Engineer – West Coast, Surat

  1. Collaborate with subsurface teams to identify well intervention opportunities.
  2. List and prioritize intervention opportunities with the Subsurface team based on well performance and well conditions.
  3. Carry out well intervention planning, program writing and reviewing, supporting execution across interventions including but not limited to slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, tractor conveyed well intervention in high angle wells, pumping and well stimulation.
  4. Carry out gas lift optimization, job planning for GLV changeouts and supporting execution.
  5. Coordinate with Petroleum Engineering team for mapping of resources and equipment required for planned interventions to ensure availability and timely execution.
  6. Ensure seamless coordination between subsurface, wells, and production operations to maximize efficiency and production.
  7. Conduct post-job analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and identify areas for improvement.
  8. Conduct resource mapping and planning for short term and long term well interventions, support procurement process for resource augmentations and contract management.


Well Completion Engineer – West Coast - Surat

  1. Collaborate with subsurface, drilling, projects and operations teams to provide right well completion designs for new well, sidetrack or work over wells.
  2. Lead the well design and completion design of well opportunities while providing critical inputs on:
  3. Tubing selection, metallurgy selection, artificial lift selection and design along with sand face completion design
  4. Provide inputs in sand control design and execution for upcoming wells.
  5. Accountable for sand management practices for base wells on production/injection to avoid failure and sand fill issues.
  6. Flow assurance management for base wells and design assurance on new wells being planned.
  7. Technical assurance on well integrity and metallurgy selection at well design stage along with overall integrity management for online/base wells
  8. Carry out well Completion planning, program writing and reviewing, supporting execution across well completions operations.
  9. Oversee the execution of completion operations on-site, monitoring progress, addressing technical challenges, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines
  10. Support with well intervention planning and execution during pre/post well completion phase and activation phase including but not limited to slickline, wireline, coiled tubing, tractor conveyed well Completion in high angle wells, pumping and well stimulation.
  11. Coordinate with Petroleum Engineering team for mapping of resources and equipment required for planned Completions to ensure availability and timely execution.
  12. Conduct post-job reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of Completions and identify areas for improvement.
