Job Description:


As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure our applications are highly available, scalable, and secure. Key Responsibilities:


Design, build, and manage scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using best practices.

Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.

Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance, reliability, and security of cloud services.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications into AWS.

Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as CloudFormation, or CDK.

Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including identity and access management, network security, and data protection.

Conduct regular security and performance audits, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Stay up to date with AWS services and features, proposing innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members on AWS best practices and DevOps methodologies.

Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

5+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3+ years focusing on AWS.

Strong experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch, and more.

Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).

Expertise in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CodePipeline, etc.).

Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or AWS CDK.

Solid understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and cloud architecture.

Experience with monitoring tools and logging systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, CloudWatch).

Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).

Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools for security automation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or similar certifications.

Experience with serverless architecture and microservices.

Familiarity with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.

Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.

Knowledge of FinOps and cost optimization strategies in the cloud.
