Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Quality Management Systems:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) for the precast production plant.
  • Ensure adherence to QMS procedures and standards throughout all stages of production.
  • Monitor and continuously improve quality metrics and performance indicators.


2. Quality Assurance:

  • Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols to ensure compliance with design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify product quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage non-conformances, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).


3. Process Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to improve production processes and enhance product quality and consistency.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement efforts.


4. Supplier Quality Management:

  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality performance and capabilities.
  • Establish quality standards for incoming materials and components.
  • Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality requirements.


5. Training and Development:

  • Provide training and guidance to production and quality assurance teams on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality and accountability throughout the organization.


6. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality records, inspection reports, and testing results.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reports to management and stakeholders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (X years) in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in precast concrete or construction industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, etc.) and quality control tools and techniques (FMEA, SPC, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is desirable.
