Responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer at Capillary Technologies, you will:

  1. Reviewing Documents:Analyze project requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
  2. Provide valuable feedback to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.
  3. Bug Tracking:Identify, document, and track software defects with detailed bug reports.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient bug resolution using Jira.
  5. Regression Testing:Conduct thorough regression testing using both manual and automated approaches.
  6. Maintain and enhance regression test suites to ensure ongoing product stability.
  7. Enhancement & Maintainence of automation test framework: Updating test scripts on regular basis, making sure it is upto date with latest functionality and is up and running all the time.
  8. Testing Processes:Contribute to the development and improvement of testing processes. Collaborate with development teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
  9. System Requirements:Liaise with internal teams to understand and document system requirements accurately.
  10. Ensure effective communication to bridge any gaps in understanding between QA and other stakeholders.
  11. Monitoring Debugging Process:Monitor the debugging process results and provide input for efficient issue resolution.
  12. Collaborate with development teams to verify fixes and prevent regression issues.
  13. QA Metrics:Track and analyze quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts using tools like Jira.
  14. Staying Up-to-date:Stay abreast of industry trends, new testing tools, and emerging test strategies.
  15. Participate in relevant conferences, training programs, and certifications to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in quality assurance roles
  • Strong experience in gathering test/use case requirement from customers, PMs and reading spec., familiar with risk based test design, test cases implementation and execution, test resource/planning knowledge Integration
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Gradle, Junit, Selenium, etc.
  • Sound knowlegde of programming languages such as Java, Groovy, etc.
  • Strong collaboration skills and initiative to work with teams which might cross different business units, departments and partners to finish the end to end product integration/interOp testing independently
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management systems like JIRA, Bugzilla etc.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
