Job Title: Software Engineer – Fullstack Development

Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years

Location: Bangalore

Role Summary:

As a Software Engineer (Fullstack), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our software products. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) and be proficient in a range of technologies including Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra or any other columnar NoSQL database. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

What will you do?

  • Backend Persistence Layer Development: Design, develop, and maintain persistence APIs and interfaces using Java, Spring Boot.
  • Data Structures & Algorithms: Apply strong DSA knowledge to build efficient and optimized software solutions.
  • Database Management: Work with both SQL (PostgreSQL or Oracle) and NoSQL databases, (MongoDB or Cassandra or any other columnar NoSQL databases), to design and manage data storage solutions.
  • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices in software development.
  • Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure the reliability and performance of applications.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers, product managers, and designers to deliver features that meet user requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve the quality and performance of our software.

What skills required?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in back-end persistence API development.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
  • Proficiency in Java, including experience with Spring Boot
  • Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL or Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB or Cassandra or any other columnar NoSQL stores).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
