Key features of the product and service model include: 5-star ACs, intelligent systems for optimized performance and predictive maintenance, energy consumption analytics, an electricity bill management tool, and no-cost maintenance services and spare parts as part of the fixed monthly subscription rate (with no additional costs).


Our vision is to build a fully circular model for cooling solutions, from design through to the end of product life, harmonized across all lifecycle stages. We focus on both the B2C and B2B segments, especially small businesses that dominate the Indian landscape.


Job Description:

As an AI Engineer at CircoLife, you will be responsible for designing and implementing AI-driven solutions to enhance the performance, efficiency, and user experience of our IoT-enabled smart air conditioners. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, IoT developers, and data scientists, to develop predictive models, optimize sensor data processing, and create intelligent control algorithms that provide smart climate management for our users.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop AI Models: Build and deploy machine learning algorithms that predict system failures, optimize energy consumption, and adapt to user behavior.

Data Analysis: Analyze real-time and historical sensor data from IoT devices to extract valuable insights and improve the efficiency of air conditioning systems.

Predictive Maintenance: Design predictive models that can forecast when maintenance is required, reducing downtime and improving product lifespan.

Sensor Data Processing: Collaborate with the IoT team to process and interpret data from various sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, etc.) in real-time, ensuring the system responds intelligently.

Control Algorithms: Develop smart control algorithms that dynamically adjust the AC's operation based on environmental factors, user preferences, and energy-saving requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering Teams: Work with hardware, software, and firmware engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI models with the product’s IoT infrastructure.

Continuous Improvement: Research new AI technologies and methodologies to continuously enhance the smart AC systems, improving overall efficiency and user satisfaction.

Product Customization: Customize AI solutions based on customer feedback and usage patterns to offer personalized experiences.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing AI and machine learning solutions, particularly for IoT or sensor-based systems.
  • Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or other AI/ML frameworks.
  • Experience working with large datasets, including time-series and sensor data.
  • Strong understanding of IoT devices, embedded systems, and edge computing.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure for AI/ML deployment.
  • Experience in predictive analytics and model optimization for real-time systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of AI in the context of embedded systems and resource-constrained environments.
