About the role:

Entropik is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is passionate about deep tech engineering. This role will give exposure to product architecture and best practices in cloud engineering and streamlining data pipelines in a fast-paced development organization.

Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in Amazon/Google/Azure cloud, microservices, CD pipelines, APM tools, and, of course, agile methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Atleast 5+ years of experience working in a DevOps / SRE role.
  • Expertise with any scripting languages (Bash/Python/Ruby/Groovy/etc.)
  • Experience in setting up and automating build & release management across environments
  • Administration, scripting and automation with Amazon Web Services cloud
  • Working knowledge of ECS (or equivalent) and Kubernetes is a plus
  • Good to great understanding of APM applications (Datadog, NewRelic, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) and deployment/ system integration/configuration management tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)
  • Knowledge of Administration of SQL databases and in memory DB clusters such as Memcached, Redis, etc.
  • Web and application server administration: Apache, NGNIX
  • Working knowledge of DynamoDB or Cassandra or MongoDB NoSQL solutions at scale
  • Linux certification/ working experience is a must
