Position: Solution ArchitectJob SummaryThe Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end technical solutions that align with business objectives and client requirements. The role involves defining system architecture, integration frameworks, and deployment strategies while ensuring scalability, security, and performance across platforms. The Solution Architect serves as a key bridge between business stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure providers.Key Responsibilities 1. Solution Design & Architecture• Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures for complex systems (BSS, OSS, mediation, CRM, charging, provisioning, etc.).• Define integration patterns between enterprise systems, ensuring interoperability and data consistency.• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and architecture blueprints.• Design scalable micro services and containerized solutions leveraging Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools.• Ensure architectural alignment with security, compliance, and performance standards. 2. Presales & Customer Engagement• Support presales teams in responding to RFPs/RFQs, developing technical proposals, and presenting solutions to clients.• Conduct requirement-gathering workshops and technical discovery sessions with customers.• Provide estimations, architecture diagrams, and Bill of Materials (BoM) for proposed solutions. 3. Implementation Oversight• Guide development and implementation teams during the delivery phase.• Review design and code for alignment with the defined architecture.• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to define deployment models, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring strategies. 4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement• Research emerging technologies (e.g., 5G, AI/ML, cloud-native applications) and assess their potential value to the organization.• Contribute to reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and best practices documentation.Key Skills & Competencies• Strong knowledge of telecom BSS/OSS domains (CRM, Mediation, OCS, Charging, Billing, etc.)• Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, Kubernetes, and API-based integration• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and API gateways• Proficiency in solution documentation, architecture modeling (UML, C4, TOGAF)• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and high availability design• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills• Ability to balance technical depth with business understandingQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field (Master’s preferred)• 8+ years of experience in system design, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles• Proven track record delivering enterprise or telecom-grade solutions• Certifications (advantageous): TOGAF / AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Architect / TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA)
