CMK Resources is looking for an Enterprise Vault Specialist for our partner in India. This is a 12-month contract supporting archiving and data migration activities within the Enterprise Vault environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Enterprise Vault or related email archiving and data management systems and a solid understanding of messaging and data ingestion processes.Position Details:Role: Enterprise Vault SpecialistLocation: India (onsite or hybrid TBD)Work Hours: Primarily India business hours, with one weekly check-in call during US hoursDuration: 12 months to start (possibility for extension)Responsibilities:Support day-to-day operations of Enterprise Vault and related archiving systemsHandle raw data uploads to FTP systems, ensuring conformance to format and mapping requirementsMaintain accurate documentation, including chain of custody and data mapping recordsValidate and prepare data for ingestion into SaaS platforms (EV.Cloud, Alta Archiving, or Arctera Insight/Surveillance)Run import tools and monitor migration progress across multiple data pools (30–40 concurrent migrations)Troubleshoot issues related to file formats, SMTP, and messaging protocols (POP3, etc.)Collaborate with global teams, providing weekly status updates to US-based stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience:Strong background in Enterprise Vault administration or support (on-prem or cloud versions)Understanding of email systems, file formats, and data archiving workflowsExperience with data ingestion, validation, and migration toolsFamiliarity with SaaS archiving platforms such as EV.Cloud, Veritas Alta, or Arctera InsightStrong attention to detail, documentation, and data integrity practicesAbility to work independently and communicate effectively with global teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in eDiscovery, compliance, or surveillance systemsPrevious experience supporting large-scale data migrations (multiple data pools)Exposure to Veritas or similar archiving solutions
