We're looking for a Social Media Manager & Content Writer to join our team and help us reach more people and boost traffic through engaging content and effective social media strategies.

Job Brief:

As a Social Media Manager & Content Writer, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies to increase our web traffic and brand awareness. Your creative thinking and ability to present our brand through various social media channels will be key in achieving our goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Social Media Strategies: Design and implement social media strategies to achieve marketing targets. Identify key metrics and KPIs to track the success of these strategies.

2. Create Engaging Content: Generate original, high-quality content that resonates with our target audience. This includes writing blog posts, creating graphics, and producing videos.

3. Manage Social Media Accounts: Administer all company social media accounts, ensuring they are updated with relevant and engaging content regularly.

4. Collaborate with Writers and Designers: Work closely with writers and designers to create content that is informative, appealing, and consistent with our brand voice and image.

5. Boost Brand Awareness: Collaborate with Marketing and Product Development teams to create buzz around new product launches and initiatives.

6. Engage with Audience: Foster communication between our brand and our audience. Respond to queries, gather reviews, and organise chats and Q&A sessions to build relationships with our followers.

7. Analyse and Report: Prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic, engagement metrics, and ROI. Use this data to optimise our social media strategies and content.

8. Optimise Content for SEO: Monitor SEO performance and user engagement on social media platforms. Suggest and implement content optimization strategies to improve visibility and reach.

9. Build Industry Connections: Engage with industry professionals and influencers via social media to expand our network and reach new audiences.

10. Train Internal Teams: Educate internal teams on best practices for integrating and maintaining a cohesive social media strategy across departments.

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.

- Hands-on experience using social media platforms for brand awareness and engagement.

- In-depth understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics.

- Ability to identify target audience preferences and tailor content to meet their needs.

- Familiarity with web design and publishing tools.

- Strong multitasking, organisational, and time-management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- BSc degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
