Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Sourcing and Supplier Management:

Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers of raw materials, packaging, and other necessary components.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.

Procurement Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals and product needs.

Manage the end-to-end procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods.

Ana market trends and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess or obsolete inventory.

Coordinate with the production team to forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly.

Compliance and Quality Control:

Ensure that all procured materials meet regulatory and quality standards.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance.

Cost Management:

Track and analyse procurement expenses, identifying areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Prepare reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis and supplier performance.

 

 

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with product development, quality assurance, and other departments to ensure alignment between procurement and overall business objectives.

Facilitate communication between internal teams and external suppliers.

Qualifications:

Any Bachelor’s degree related field.

Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the dietary supplement or consumer goods industry.

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
