Sr. Key Account Manager

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Key Account Manager to oversee and drive strategic relationships with key accounts, particularly in the marketplace domain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, and e-commerce marketplaces, and a proven ability to deliver revenue growth while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Management:
- Manage relationships with key accounts on various marketplace platforms (e.g., Amazon, Nykaa, Myntra, etc.).
- Develop and implement tailored account strategies to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring consistent communication and support.
2. Strategic Planning:
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and devise strategies to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain) to ensure smooth execution of plans.
- Analyse market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform account strategies.
3. Revenue Growth:
- Drive revenue growth by optimizing product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional activities across marketplaces.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
4. Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on account performance metrics, sales forecasts, and market trends.
- Leverage data insights to identify opportunities and address challenges proactively.
5. Compliance & Relationship Management:
- Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and standards.
- Build long-term relationships with stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within e-commerce or marketplace environments.
- Strong understanding of online marketplaces and their operational activities.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Office, and marketplace management platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
