  1. Responsible for the overall database design & architecture. Responsible for architecting HA, DR and Data Protection solutions and follow Change management process. Responsible for proposing and implementing database architectural changes to make database infrastructure highly scalable, secure, reliable and optimal.
  2. Design, implement and build data models and pipelines that deliver data with measurable quality under the service level agreement.
  3. Responsible for providing Trend Analysis to the management team. Responsible for improvement and maintenance of all databases, including Patch Rollouts, Backup/ Recovery and Code DeploymentProvide guidance and end to end support for database engineering of large-scale systems, major system elements, and interfacing systems that are part of a large complex network environment with geographically distributed components.
  4. Manage and administer computer databases in a distributed, highly complex enterprise environment.
  5. Proactive Monitoring of DB Performance to ensure integrity of data and provide Tuning of the database for optimal performance.Develop BI Reports required for DB monitoring & reporting purposes, SSRS.Takes the initiative to resolve problems and ensures all eDiscovery system(s) are running well with respect to the database.

Troubleshoot Production Issues, identify the root cause, come up with recommendations & solutions for identified root cause.Develop SQL scripts for the automation of DBA Tasks.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND behaviors

  1. Extensive experience in SQL Server Installation, Configuration, Performance Monitoring, Security Administration, Failover Clustering and Mirroring, Replication, Isolation levels, Data Encryption, Service Broker, Change Data Capture, File groups, Data Compression, AlwaysOn HADR, System Migrations, managing schema. Experience with performance tuning and monitoring tools such as Spotlight/Foglight, Site 24/7 or other SRE Tools Experience in supporting development efforts in all phases of the development life cycle.
  2. Experience with Database Clustering, Availability Groups, Replication, Log Shipping and Change Data CaptureSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  3. Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Experience administering DBs on Azure. Azure Database Administrator Associate certification is a plus.


QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related field.
  2. 10+ years of in-depth SQL Server Database architecture and administration experience.
