Work Days - 6 days a week

Job Role:

Managing all phases of litigation including:

Handle all legal disputes, claims, and litigation involving the hospital.


Drafting of written statements, evidence, interim applications, written submissions, case summaries etc. in litigation matters primarily medico-legal and insurance matters;


Maintain comprehensive records of all litigation cases and update the hospital management and corporate legal team regularly.


Coordinating and conducting meetings with clinical teams and examining medical records for preparing responses to medico-legal matters.


Maintaining records of pending and upcoming legal matters, reviewing progress and attending court hearings in District Courts., Consumer Commissions, High Courts and various other forums.


Liasoning and attending conferences at external lawyer’s office in relation to pending medico-legal matters.


Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices to minimize legal risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Support the hospital management team in developing strategies to address potential legal risks and opportunities.


Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide variety of agreements, renewals, and addendums including but not limited to service agreements, collaboration agreements, lease agreements, clinical trial agreements, equipment purchase agreements, laboratory agreements, patient benefit agreements, sponsorship agreements etc.


Miscellaneous ancillary work including any duties assigned by the Chairman & Managing Director


· Candidates having 5 yrs Law Degree from good institute/university will be given preference

· 2 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in Litigation Management

· Candidate should have excellent communication and drafting skills.
