Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in embedded systems development and a strong background in firmware design, implementation, and testing. This individual will play a key role in developing cutting-edge firmware solutions for our products, contributing to all phases of the firmware development lifecycle.


Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for [company's products or systems].
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define firmware requirements and specifications.
  3. Implement efficient and reliable firmware solutions that meet performance, quality, and scalability requirements.
  4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to ensure functionality and reliability.
  5. Optimize firmware code for resource-constrained embedded platforms, such as microcontrollers and DSPs.
  6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in embedded systems development.


Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality firmware solutions.
  3. Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages for embedded systems.
  4. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded Linux.
  5. Strong understanding of microcontroller architectures and peripheral interfaces (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C).
  6. Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, and USB.
  7. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  9. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.


Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers and development tools (e.g., Keil, STM32Cube).
  2. Knowledge of wireless communication technologies (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi).
  3. Familiarity with hardware design and schematic capture tools (e.g., Altium Designer).
  4. Experience in automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation industries.


Job Specification:


Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Computer Engineering, or related field.


Experience:

5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.


Skills:
