Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Account Manager located in Thane. As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Independently manage all accounting tasks for a Pvt. Ltd. Company.

• Possess in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Maintain company books using Tally Prime accounting software, including sales, purchases, debit/credit notes, payments, receipts, petty cash, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.

• Periodically prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, profit & loss accounts, and depreciation statements in compliance with the Company Act and Income Tax Act.

• Prepare GST statements for monthly and annual returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, and reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase data/books.

• Provide assistance with tax returns and audits.

• Regularly verify and scrutinize accounting entries (ledger scrutiny, etc.).

• Expertise in TDS and TCS calculation, payments, and return filing processes.

• Prepare Income Tax & GST scrutiny details for submission to the respective departments.

• Reconcile TDS statements with 26AS Reports and books of accounts.

• Responsible for completing accounts and annual tax submissions.

• Prepare management reports regularly.

• Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and issues, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.


You will work closely with the sales team, purchase team, provide guidance and support to junior staff members and colleagues, and contribute to the overall business growth.
