As one of the largest hotel school chains in India, IIHM takes pride in its accomplished alumni working in prestigious hotel chains worldwide.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Faculty at the Kolkata metropolitan area campus. The AI Faculty will be responsible for designing and delivering AI-focused curriculum, conducting lectures, supervising project work, and providing academic counseling to students. Additional responsibilities include staying updated with advancements in AI, collaborating on research initiatives, developing practical training modules, and ensuring a high standard of teaching. The role also involves academic planning and active participation in faculty discussions and educational events.QualificationsProficiency in core AI concepts, machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP)Experience in software programming, data analysis, and tools such as Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorchStrong curriculum development, instructional design, and teaching methodologiesResearch knowledge and experience in academic publishing and staying current with AI trendsExcellent communication, mentoring, and interpersonal skillsMaster’s or Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related fieldPrior teaching or industry experience in AI is an added advantageJob Responsibilities:1. Teach AI, basic computer programming, and technology-based activities to students.2. Prepare lesson plans, practical demos, and project-based learning tasks.3. Conduct interactive classroom sessions using digital tools.4. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.5. Ensure a supportive, safe, and encouraging learning environment. Required Qualification & Skills:1. Graduate / Post Graduate in Computer Science / IT / AI / BCA / MCA / B.Tech / M.Tech or related field.2. Good communication skills in English and/or local language.3. Fresher or Experienced candidates both may apply.4. Must have a positive attitude and student-friendly approach
