Revenue Manager

- Functions as the leader of the hotel’s revenue generation.
- Revenue Manager is responsible for room revenue maximization, revenue forecasting, managing the hotel information on various OTA channels, accurate content about the hotel across channels. The position will be primarily responsible for heading the Revenue function of the upcoming Taj Dehradun, post which the same will be merged with the Cluster Revenue team and will be responsible for multiple hotels in the area.
- Regular updation of the pricing to achieve the maximum revenue keeping in line with the demand in the market the key function for FOM along with the rate parity across all online channels.
- Leads and manages all day-to-day activities related to the revenue and reservation function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives, to develop strategies to maximize Revpar, profitability and grow market share.
Financials-
*Presents the Room Revenue, Banquet & Outlet budget Revpar, Spa and other revenue center budgets to DOSM/DOS
*Ensures that EBITDA margins to be in line with the hotel revenue
*Ensures RevPar Leadership with consistent ADR increase thereby ensuring highest EBITDA for the hotel
*Ensure consistent revenue generation through GDS channels.
Internal Process-
'*Extracts and analyzes data in order to draw viable/actionable business conclusions
*Prepares forecasts of revenue, profit, demand and occupancy for rooms and banquets
*Manages all revenue, profit and demand data associated with rooms and function space
*Responsible for achieving revenue goals, guest and associate satisfaction and the financial performance of the department
*Ensures that the BAR & rate slab pricing is fixed as per the schedule.
*Responsible for OTA marketing / promotion plans
*Conducts competition analysis for effective hotel pricing.
*Creates pricing strategies for revenue maximization during Peak, Shoulder & Lean periods.
*Ensures to do room revenue forecasting in a timely manner
*Creates promotional plans to enhance revenue.
*Provides inputs to the sales team pertaining to materialization through various channels & corporate rate codes.
*Generates revenue reports for revenue analysis on monthly basis.
*Guides the reservation team for effective inventory management to optimize room category revenue generation.
*Ensure prompt & accurate reverts for all room related queries by the reservation team.
'*Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
*Develops strong partnerships with local organizations to further increase brand/product awareness.
*Develops and manages internal key stakeholder relationships.
