  Job Description:

   We are seeking a talented Conservation Architect to join our team. As a Conservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring heritage buildings and monuments, ensuring their cultural and historical significance is maintained for future generations.

   Responsibilities:

• Assess the condition of heritage buildings and monuments, identifying areas in need of restoration or preservation.
• Develop conservation plans and strategies to protect and maintain the architectural integrity of heritage structures.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including historians, archaeologists, and local communities, to ensure conservation efforts align with cultural and historical values.
• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation for restoration projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, craftsmen, and restoration specialists to implement conservation plans effectively.
• Conduct research on historical building materials, construction techniques, and preservation methods.
• Monitor ongoing restoration projects, ensuring compliance with conservation standards and regulations.
• Educate the public about the importance of heritage conservation and promote community engagement in preservation efforts.
• Stay updated on advancements in conservation practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

   Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
2. M.Phil/Ph.D/Post-Doctoral in the same field is preferable.
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience in restoring heritage buildings/monuments.
4. Strong knowledge of architectural conservation principles, techniques, and best practices.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
6. Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
7. Passion for preserving cultural heritage and historical landmarks.
