Alphagen Learning is looking for part-time coding teachers to facilitate its holiday programs. Teachers would work approximately 4 to 5 hours per day, Monday to Friday in the month of November and December. Best in industry salary structure.ResponsibilitiesTeaching coding and technology to kids aged between 7 to 16Experience teaching with several of the following languages/platforms: Scratch, Python (block-based or syntax), AI & Machine Learning, Minecraft Education EditionFamiliar with using generative AI tools and prompt engineering.Work from homeWorking hours per week (Monday to Friday) will be approximately 20.Teaching hours are between 8am IST and 5pm IST (4 hours per day)QualificationsMust have prior experience in teaching coding online to kids in a small group setting, up to 1:4Able to teacher younger kids aged 6+Excellent command of English and a neutral accent to teach children internationallyCreativity and flexibility to personalise learning for studentsEducation: Minimum requirement either B.Ed or B.Tech. Advantage: M.Ed / M.Tech / MCADemonstrated excellence in coding and teachingAny real-world coding experience is an advantageLaptop with webcam, mic and a reliable internet connectionDesired Candidate ProfilePassion for teaching childrenTakes ownership and responsibility for assigned tasksDrive to succeed, ambitious and self-motivatedAbility to learn quickly, be creative and flexible, with a strong personal drive and integrityIndependent, self-starter, professional and strong work ethic.
