Job Description: Statutory Audit Manager

Position: Statutory Audit Manager

Organization: CNK Delhi

Experience Required: Minimum 6-8 years in Statutory Audit, with some exposure to Internal Audits.

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Management:

- Lead and manage the audit practice, focusing primarily on statutory audits.

- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of audit professionals.

- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely completion of audits.

2. Statutory Audit Execution:

- Plan, manage, and execute statutory audits for a diverse portfolio of clients.

- Ensure audits are conducted in compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS/IGAAP), laws, and regulations.

- Prepare detailed audit reports and presentations for clients.

3. Internal Audit Exposure:

- Assist in planning and executing internal audits as and when required.

- Identify process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and areas for operational improvement.

4. Client Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, ensuring high client satisfaction.

- Address client queries and provide technical guidance related to statutory and internal audits.

5. Technical Expertise and Quality Assurance:

- Stay updated on changes in audit regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.

- Review and ensure the quality of work performed by the audit team.

- Conduct internal quality control reviews to maintain high professional standards.

6. Business Development:

- Identify opportunities to expand the firm’s audit practice.

- Assist in proposal preparation and pitch presentations for prospective clients.

7. Process Improvement:

- Develop and implement audit methodologies and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- Propose and implement improvements to the firm’s audit processes.

Skills and Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of statutory audit principles, practices, and applicable accounting standards (Ind AS, IFRS, IGAAP).

- Working knowledge of internal audit frameworks and risk-based auditing techniques.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage teams and engage with clients.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
