Hiring for Worko's partner Company which is fastest growing premium Q-commerce brandRole OverviewThe Category Manager – F&V will own the strategy, growth, and profitability of the fresh produce vertical. The role involves assortment planning, sourcing, vendor management, pricing, and supply chain optimization, ensuring premium quality and consumer delight. Candidates with F&V category management experience or agriculture/supply chain educational background will be highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and execute the growth roadmap for the F&V categoryOwn and manage P&L with focus on revenue growth, margins, and cost efficiencyTrack performance and identify levers for assortment and profitability improvementDevelop strong partnerships with vendors, farmers, and suppliers to ensure quality and consistent availabilityNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of engagementStrengthen backward linkages in supply for premium product qualityApply agricultural knowledge to optimize procurement, cold-chain, and logisticsReduce wastage through accurate demand forecasting and efficient inventory managementEnsure freshness and compliance with food safety and regulatory standardsCurate seasonal assortments and premium product launchesCollaborate with marketing to plan promotions, campaigns, and consumer engagement activitiesEnsure top-class experience aligned with brand's premium positioningRequirements2–5 years of experience, with at least 1 years in Fruits & Vegetables category managementProven track record of P&L management in a relevant categoryEducational background in Agriculture / Food Technology / Supply Chain highly preferredIn-depth knowledge of harvesting cycles, agricultural practices, cold storage, and logisticsStrong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsData-driven with advanced Excel/analytics proficiencyHigh ownership, agility, and ability to thrive in a premium, high-growth environmentMandatory Requirements3–5 years of experience, with at least 2 years in Fruits & Vegetables category managementProven track record of P&L management in a relevant categoryIn-depth knowledge of harvesting cycles, agricultural practices, cold storage, and logisticsStrong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsData-driven with advanced Excel/analytics proficiencyHigh ownership, agility, and ability to thrive in a premium, high-growth environmentPreferred RequirementsEducational background in Agriculture / Food Technology / Supply Chain highly preferredCandidates with F&V category management experience or agriculture/supply chain educational background will be highly preferred
