Role: Senior Consultant – Database (Oracle EBS – DBA Architect)The consultant will work as a Core DBA with strong experience in GoldenGate and Database Migrations. This role demands deep technical expertise, customer-facing ability, and flexibility to support mission-critical systems in a 24×7 environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform Core DBA tasks including installation, upgrade, configuration, migration, and performance tuning of Oracle DB (12c/18c/19c).Work directly with end customers, providing technical consultation and guidance.Support Oracle databases in high-volume, high-pressure environments.Execute Database Migrations and manage GoldenGate replication setups.Manage RAC, ASM, Multitenant, and large Database Management Systems.Handle backup & recovery procedures, RMAN, and Data Guard.Conduct performance tuning, SQL tuning, query optimization, and partitioning.Engage in knowledge transfer sessions, mentoring, and documentation.Review and create knowledge articles.Work with Enterprise Manager and optionally Exadata.Contribute to team productivity by sharing best practices, tools, and utilities.Technical Skills RequiredMandatoryOracle DBA (12c/18c/19c)GoldenGate (MUST)Database Migration (MUST)Database Architecture & AdministrationMultitenant, RAC, ASMRMAN, Data GuardPerformance Tuning (DB + SQL)Partitioning & Database SecurityEnterprise Manager (OEM)UNIX/Linux administration fundamentalsGood to HaveExperience with Exadata (Engineered Systems)Exposure to cloud database technologies (AWS, Azure, OCI, etc.)CertificationsOracle Certified Consultant / OCP DBAPreferred: Oracle Certified Technical DBA Gold 11i (Intermediate – 9)Soft Skills / Personal AttributesSelf-driven and result-orientedStrong customer relationship and client interaction skillsAbility to work under pressure and manage high workloadsFlexibility for night shifts or late hoursWillingness to work from client location (local)QualificationBE / B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc.
