Role Description
- Must have significant on practical knowledge in handloom.
-Conduct trend research and market surveys to understand market needs thoroughly.
- Explore patterns, colors, and techniques for creating unique silhouettes that align with brand values.
- Develop a collection line, plan patterns and utility.
- Research, redraw, and adapt ideas using software for new effects.
- Design seasonal ensembles and create design/concept boards for communication.
- Experiment with color, fabric, and texture within budget and deadlines.
- Study fashion trends and anticipate consumer preferences.
- Decide on themes and develop collections in coordination with marketing and production teams.
Qualifications
- Skills in draping and pattern making
- Experience in conducting fittings and working with woven textiles
- Ability to stay up-to-date with fashion trends
- Excellent design and creativity skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience in the fashion industry is a plus
- Degree in Fashion Design or related field
Offering
- Salary: 20k-30k per month.
- On site mandatory
