International Business Development Manager

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with International Team: Work closely with our International team to develop and execute strategic business development initiatives for the international market.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients in the international market through regular communication, meetings, and presentations.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and business opportunities in the international market.
  • Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels, including online research, networking events, and referrals, to expand our client base in the Europe.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other sales materials for client meetings and pitches.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the sales pipeline, track leads and opportunities, and provide regular updates to the Europe-based BD team.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and pricing with clients and work towards closing deals to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations to ensure alignment and support for business development efforts in the international market.
  • Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback for management review.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 5 years prior solar industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
