Job Description: Software QA Intern (Test Case Design & Scenarios)

Location: On-Site, Udaipur (Rajasthan)

Duration: 6 months Internship

Type: Internship (Stipend-based)


About Us

YoCharge is the Electric Vehicle Charging & Energy Management SaaS startup assisting Charge Point Operators, e-Mobility Service Providers to launch, operate, and scale their EV charging business efficiently. The startup is offering SaaS in more than 20 countries & looking for energetic team members to build a global product in EV & Energy domain.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand product requirements and translate them into well-structured test scenarios & test cases.
  • Use permutation and combination thinking to cover all possible input conditions and edge cases.
  • Identify positive, negative, boundary, and edge test cases.
  • Document test cases in the required format.
  • Collaborate with developers and QA team to clarify requirements and scenarios.
  • Assist in Test execution based on written test cases (if required).

Requirements:

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong logical and analytical skills; ability to think through all possible variations of a scenario.
  • Good understanding of test case writing techniques (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, decision tables, state transitions etc.).
  • Ability to identify edge cases and scenarios that others might miss.
  • Basic understanding of SDLC/STLC.
  • Good written communication skills for clear documentation.
  • Passion for quality and detail-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of any test management tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.).
  • Familiarity with API testing or automation basics.
  • Exposure to using AI tools for test case writing and scenario generation.
