Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and architecture discussions for complex software systems, ensuring alignment with the company’s technical vision.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and engineers, to convert business requirements into technical specifications and tasks.
  • Develop efficient, maintainable, and robust code using Java and associated technologies.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high coding standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing expertise in Java, software design, and best practices.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and technical challenges in software applications.
  • Stay current with advancements in Java and related technologies to ensure continuous product innovation.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of professional experience in Java/J2EE software development.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable, complex software systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of software architecture patterns, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and related technologies.
  • Proficiency in developing web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)(Good to have) and CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical discussions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools like Jira and Confluence.
