As a Senior Project Manager specializing in Government Software Projects, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and execution of various software projects for government agencies in India. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the successful delivery of projects within scope, schedule, and budget constraints while meeting the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Quick Learning of the Specific Project Objectives on the Assigned Project
  • Lead the end-to-end project management lifecycle for government software projects, from initiation to closure.
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans and timelines.
  • Allocate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor and track project progress, identify and address risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure Compliance of Contractual Obligations in Terms of Scope of Services, Delivery Schedules, Quality Standard Requirements, Documentation etc.
  • Communicate regularly with project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to provide project updates, highlight achievements, and address concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, policies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and coach junior project management staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that the Project Team complies with all requirements of Kran Quality Management System (QMS) including Daily Scrums, Weekly Team Meetings, Monthly Project Review Meetings, Schedule & Conduct Pre Delivery Reviews & Audits, Close Open Non Compliances, Facilitate External Quality Audits wherever required etc.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex software projects for government agencies in India.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent oral in Hindi, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Project Tools.
