Job Description:
The responsibility of Conversational Designer is to help shape natural interactions between human and technology. At Uniphore, we are seeking a talented and experienced Conversational AI designer who can lead the practice of developing conversational AI workflows that leverage conversational AI and automation to drive efficiency and improve user engagement and experience which are diverse and intricate, commencing with a comprehensive understanding of AI products. Central to their mission is collaboration across multifaceted teams, spanning across solution consultants, product specialists and business stakeholders, ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of cutting-edge AI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design conversational AI and automation solutions tailored to meet specific needs.
- Brainstorm, ideate, discuss and align on functional specifications, requirements documentation, stories, and test specifications along with Customer and Internal Teams
- Engage in detailed channel / conversation discovery to understand and define caller archetypes and in order to design the conversational flow in accordance.
- Conduct WoZ testing.
- Analyze performance metrics, deep conversational analytics and user/bot data to make data-driven decisions regarding chat or voice bot improvements and modifications.
- Ability to define and build personas for the bots basis to Client’s business and marketing definitions.
- Continuously research and implement AI advancements to enhance user experience through improved personalization, bot interactions, and user journey optimization.
- Cultivate a positive environment conducive to team innovation and growth.
Skill Requirements:
- Background with linguistic experience.
- Familiarity with principles that guide the creation of user-friendly applications
- Familiarity on working with any leading Conversational AI Platform
- Understanding of Chat or voice bot development process.
Desired Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the field VUI/Text UI.
- A master’s or bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, any Engineering or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Possess strong analytical skills, methodical thinking, logical thinking, problem-solving skills and the ability to define problems and devise solutions.
- Experience in conducting WoZ testing for usability effectiveness.
- Prior knowledge and experience in contact center operations/products and understanding of related business processes are required.
- Proficiency in UX Design principles that are applicable for Chat bots, voice bots or agent co-pilot apps. This is a critical requirement to ensure building of user-friendly applications.
- Proficient in Lucid or Visio for building the flow designs.
- Exceptional communication, presentation (both oral and written), and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with AI concepts to ensure UI is in line to technical capabilities supported across Uniphore U-Suite of products.
