Position Objective:

  1. Develop strategic sales & marketing plan and consistently grow PLP Business in India with the primary focus on HTLS. Later stage, looking for opportunity to expand into solar, power distribution and telecommunication.
  2. Leverage PLP Brand awareness in Indian market.
  3. Determine the medium- and long-term business model in India and suggest to management for decision and implementation.
  4. Cooperate with Export Sales Manager of PLP Thailand for the sales activities of Bangladesh, Nepal and Export Business through Indian EPC.
  5. Grow sales volume.


Key Responsibility Areas:

  1. Accountable for the sales performance and managing expenses.
  2. Carry market research and establish a strategic sales plan.
  3. Design, develop and implement marketing program and / or pricing strategies.
  4. Develop a close working relationship with customers and Utilities.
  5. Promote and sell PLP products.
  6. Have direct responsibility to prepare and submit quotations to customers and effectively close orders.
  7. Coordinate with engineering team in order to develop standard products that will put PLP in the best competitive edge in all market segments, including components and/or string hardware.
  8. Coordinate with engineering team and Export Sales Manager of PLP Thailand for the tender support.
  9. Liaise with customer service, engineering, testing and logistic to ensure that our products supplied will meet customer’s requirement and on time delivery.
  10. Create a strong culture of fast response, team working & accuracy.
  11. Monitor on time delivery (OTD) performance and flag for the potential delay on the any important orders.
  12. Coordinate or accommodate customers who coming to PLP TH for factory acceptance test (FAT).
  13. Identify and develop sales channels in each market segment and geographic.
  14. Establish distributor agreement, set up budget and support the distributor to grow PLP business.
  15. Provide weekly sales activities & marketing report to the company
  16. Define the resources requirement and business model in India and suggest to MD for decision and implementation
  17. Any others, as per assignment from the Sales Director of PLP Thailand.
