Pathways World School, Aravali is looking for a Head of Department- Mathematics to ensure the effective delivery of the curriculum. The HoD will oversee the development and implementation of instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments that align with educational standards. This role involves collaborating with teachers to support their professional development and enhance their teaching strategies.


Requirements :

  • Should be Facilitator of learning through an inquiry style approach that is hands on & minds on to create lifelong internationally minded learners in all children. Highly collaborative leader & professional who seeks positive and productive relationship with all those within the community including students, parents, administrators, & educators.
  • Candidate must have at least 10 to 12 year of teaching experience with IB schools. Experience as an IBDP High School Mathematics (AA/AI/HL/SL) teacher.
  • Preferred to be an Examiner for Mathematics HL (AA & AI) / IA moderator / EE Examiner for Mathematics. Also, active participation in the moderation of MYP Mathematics (Standard and Extended)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Mathematics department in curriculum planning and delivery of the curriculum.
  • Oversee the creation and implementation of instructional materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
  • Collaborate with teachers to provide professional development and improve teaching strategies.
  • Ensure the curriculum aligns with IB educational standards.
  • Foster a positive and productive learning environment for students.
  • Promote innovative and effective teaching practices within the department.
