Visionify is a technology company that specializes in transforming traditional CCTV systems into proactive hazard and risk monitoring tools using computer vision and AI. We support EHS teams for Manufacturing companies by providing video analytics and real-time alerts to help reduce compliance violations. Our solutions include PPE compliance monitoring, emergency event detection, area controls, and vehicle controls.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Computer Vision Engineer at Visionify Inc. located in Hyderabad. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing computer vision algorithms, machine learning algorithms and building with latest state of the art Computer Vision network models. You will work closely with our Engineering team to enhance our video analytics capabilities and contribute to the development of our workplace safety solutions.


Qualifications

  • Strong background in computer science, data science and machine learning
  • Proficiency in computer vision algorithms and techniques
  • Strong experience with OpenCV library.
  • Strong experience of machine learning and deep learning frameworks
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python
  • Building production ready computer vision solutions
  • Experience with image processing and video analytics
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong coding skills with Python
  • Ability to work with large codebase and make feature enhancements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field

  • This is an onsite position only based in Hyderabad. If you are not from Hyderabad and not ready to relocate - DO NOT apply.
  • If your experience is only in NLP domain, but not much experience in Computer Vision or Video Analytics - DO NOT apply.
  • If your experience in Computer Vision is limited to just training a Yolov8 model with your custom dataset, DO NOT apply. I really need Engineers who can solve end world business challenges with Computer Vision.


In the interview I will ask the following. If you don't have answers to these questions DO NOT APPLY:

  • How would you do Spills and Leaks detection on a floor (any shape/form). From a CCTV camera vantage point.
  • Near Misses between people and forklifts. CCTV Camera vantage point. Not just overlaps, actual near-misses.
  • Identify if a person is under a suspended load. How would you detect a suspended load. How would you put a shadow from that object on to the floor as a dynamic zone.
